Urmi returned from Kerala after her memorable, fun-filled wellness-cum-makeover trip. She knew she had much catching up to do while leaving Delhi. She thanked Rahul for her Kerala trip, which did wonders for her mind and body. Urmi found a new spring in her feet, dreams in her eyes, and a new desire to enjoy life. Her skin started to glow, her hair became healthier, and what pleased her most was that she looked several years younger. She could thank the unique Ayurvedic treatments, diet, yoga sessions and routine massages. Her maids, Divya and Prisha, looked after her as Rahul had instructed.
The pitter-patter of the raindrops outside resounded throughout the kitchen, almost loud enough to interrupt Urmi, Rachna, and Suman's breakfast table conversation. The three women had just finished catching up on Urmi's arrival, her Kerala trip, and general gossip. Suman eventually got up to go to the kitchen to wash the dishes, still participating in the conversation.
Urmi rolled her eyes after she checked outside through the window. "Oh, Rachna, knowing our luck, this unlikely weather may arrive and disappoint you on your car purchase today."
"Don't be silly, ma. It would be best if you were more optimistic. Have you yet to see the string of luck lately? I still can't believe Rahul has allowed me to buy myself a car! Rachna replied while scraping her breakfast on her fork.
"Rahul is a hero to so many", Suman joined in, also trying to assert the importance of Rahul in her life.
"That is precisely why! Some bad luck has to break this streak of good fortune someday." Urmi zoned out of her ramblings and daydreamed about Rahul, his eyes, body... How can a simple thought of a man unleash such shivers down her spine so quickly?
Rachna interrupted her train of thought. "Raja and I are going to finalise the car today."
"Sure, let Raja come." Urmi assented and bit her lip eagerly, ensuring Rachna didn't notice.
Suman found it challenging to be glad at that opportunity since she had once considered the car idea to thank Rahul.
"Oh, ma, it's eight. I must leave for work. Tell Raja to pick me up from my office." Rachna exclaimed before draining the rest of her tea mug in a rush.
"Yes, darling, take care, have a nice day at work," Urmi greeted.
Urmi observed young Rachna, all grown-up and determined for another day of labor, dedicated to a good job, and about to own a car and marry. Her dreams for her daughter were coming true, and she suddenly basked in a feeling of pride. She watched Rachna button her blazer up and hurried through the dining room arch and out of sight. She expected the door to slam when the house buzzer rang—the creak of the opening door reverberated through the flat.
"Good morning. Is your mother home?" A familiar man's voice echoed through the entrance.
"Oh, hello," Rachna said awkwardly, "She is sitting at the dining table. Come in."
"Thank you, dear, very kind of you." The voice sounded too docile.
The man Urmi noticed came around the corner, and into her sight was Gupta, the money lender. He stood in the archway, lowering the hood of his wet raincoat and processing a fake smile. He was still getting used to the courage and shame it took him to come and visit Urmi about this particular worry of his.
"Urmiji, so nice to see you." He almost bowed. It was very much unlike Gupta.
"Guptaji, hello," She replied in disbelief, and then she realised Suman was still in the kitchen carrying out chores, so Urmi addressed her.
"Dear Suman, could you leave this gentleman and me to speak privately? My friend here has a personal family problem and wants some privacy," Urmi lied confidently.
At that kind of message, Suman suspected yet obeyed. "As you wish, ma. In that case, I will go shopping, and after that, I am visiting some friends. You don't mind if I leave the house all afternoon?"
"It's fine, see you later." Urmi found this convenient as she was looking forward to inviting Rahul later.
Urmi and Gupta waited silently until Suman gathered her things and left the flat. Urmi then took advantage of being the host now that Gupta was in her house, translating into a tremendous feeling of power. "Please sit and get dry. What brings you here?"
"You see, I was pleased to meet Rahul the other day. It was such a precious opportunity. You outstandingly delivered your dues, which led me to believe I could seek financial relief at a lesser rate..."
"From me, yes, that's right, my money. I can help you."
"R..right." Gupta knew this money was not Urmi's own, but he tried to hide the assumption.
"Is that what you need? My help?" Urmi snapped.
"That's correct. You know I lend money. For that, I need money at a lesser rate, though. So can we not agree on some arrangement?"
"A tie-up, you mean? What kind of arrangement would you like to have, Guptaji?"
"It may be best for you to suggest," Gupta indicated.
"Oh, come on, Guptaji, I do not lend money. I had to borrow money. During those difficult circumstances, when he left me, I approached you. How would I know? You tell me how I can be of any help to you." Urmi sported something close to a frown. That day, she decided to exercise that power, allowing her to speak honestly, "So tell me."
"I will lend money to others at 10%, and I expect the same from you at 8%." Gupta proposed.
"Guptaji, I have nothing else to say to you but that you must admit you have been greedy. You have been greedy with me when I was in debt and now with yourself. You are blinded by money, a greedy man. You remind me of a money predator". It was something Urmi could get off her chest and more reason to, now that she was no longer a people-pleasing debtor.
Gupta took a heavy gulp at that moment. "Oh, my dear, Urmiji. I am sorry that you have to taint the idea you have of me. This is very hard for me to admit." Gupta voraciously nodded. She was right, but Gupta couldn't accept his failure. "I don't know what to say."
"It is only the truth, Guptaji. Now tell me, why should I not directly lend them at 10%?"
"It is not only 10% or 8%. There are other risk factors that I'll have to bear," Gupta reasoned, adding, "Besides, I am here to lighten your load. You won't be able to handle everything - lending, verification, recovery, paperwork, etc."
"I'll only say yes after I have thought it over." Urmi said, "Give me some time."
"Oh, Urmiji, I promise you and myself that this will be very nice. Your money and my borrower contacts make a great combination, and I know this from my heart." He pushed the chair away from under him and rested his knees on the floor, begging and wiping the sweat from his front. "If you keep lending me such money, my family and I will prosper."
At this sight, Urmi's mind was perplexed at this unprecedented development. She had never imagined undoing herself from her beggar status only to have Gupta take on the role. Rahul's wealth and connection to Urmi had certainly dumbstruck Gupta.
"Okay, we will begin our agreement soon. We will have to talk about the terms, especially about security."
"I can't believe it. Thank you, Urmiji. You are special. I am honored to have associated with you. Call me as soon as you can meet."
"Rahul is a special man; he weighs everything properly, but I will decide on such matters. Remember this:"
After releasing himself from his begging position, there was still much "thanking" left in Gupta. It was only a matter of time until they shook hands and said their goodbyes.
Urmi leaned on the door, bewildered. It was still inconceivable to Urmi how life just took a turn like that in a few days. Urmi's next thought was to phone Rahul, tell him about Gupta's visit, and discuss the next steps, which she did. Over the phone, Rahul agreed to the loan.
"When can we both meet him? It seemed quite urgent to him." Urmi eventually asked.
"Can it wait? Tomorrow, I am taking you somewhere special for a weekend away. We could video call him from there and print out a promissory note I can redact on an online document.
"Oh. Hmm. Why don't you come and tell me about this weekend plan as we eat some of my cooking for lunch today?"
"That's an invitation I wouldn't want to refuse, lovely. However, I can't tell you, and it'll spoil the surprise."
"Intriguing...Well, the table will be ready by 2 p.m. You don't want to miss my butter chicken."
"I am sure not."
At lunchtime around Urmi's flat, the couple, sitting in blushing silence, found themselves satisfied with such culinary gifts. Rahul couldn't help but lose himself in Urmi's friendly honey eyes, appreciating the creator of such a delectable meal. He leaned forward to look closer at her, although he also took advantage of closing the distance to tell Urmi what he had on his mind.
"Prepare for a helicopter trip with me tomorrow."
A modest gasp met this Urmi. "This is quite sudden. I have never been near a helicopter in my life. Where are we going?"
"Somewhere far and important, that's all I will tell you, as it is a surprise, remember. I rented a jumbo apartment for the night, just for ourselves. You have nothing to worry about."
And it was something Urmi would have to get used to in the absence of worry. He just sounded so convincing. Every word that came out of his graceful lips joined to become a recipe for tranquility. Urmi had worried so much that she hadn't realised how much it would benefit her to leave her worries behind the wedding, the urgency of Gupta's loan, and looking after the house. Urmi had hardly lived a stress-free life, and money troubles had been at the center of the reason why. Little did she know that money would also be why she was starting to live the opposite of the life she had endured.
Rahul was due to be at his office by 3:15 p.m., where a staff meeting would occur, so he had no time to waste in Urmi's quarters. He started packing up, but while Urmi wasn't looking, he left a thin gift elegantly wrapped in gold and yellow on the same chair he had previously sat on. Meanwhile, Urmi was almost disappointed that he had to leave so quickly.
Her mind was indeed simulating some variation of what had transpired in his flat the other day, and her body couldn't help but create anticipation. She wanted to give in and hold him against the wall, rendering him helpless, finally liberating the raging sexual passion that Rahul had nurtured and empowered. However, she chose diplomacy and respect this time and led him to the door so she could send him off.
Rahul turned to face Urmi on the doorstep, locking eyes with her. They were face-to-face. Urmi's internal fire was almost suppressed to embers but was about to experience a second wind when Rahul approached his face to the side of her neck, where she could feel his welcoming breath wash over her and spread a needed warmth. Her breathing got caught in a knot with the anticipation, yearning for his touch, but instead, she could only perceive his whisper.
I will pick you up at 8 a.m. tomorrow. It would be best if you slept well. I also left a donation on the dining seat. Goodbye for now."
He turned and walked towards his parked car before Urmi could respond immediately. She stayed silent, stunned at the high sexual tension teasing her senses, yet the lack of contact. The man had put her under his spell, and all she could do at that moment was watch him depart.
When Rahul arrived and entered his car, he sat and paused. His body was stiff, but his mind was active and had its crosshairs on one thing: the glove compartment. He reached for the Gorakhpur papers Urmi had left and held them in his hands, relishing their significance and almost praying.
On the other hand, Urmi couldn't wait to discover what Rahul's "donation" was about once she returned inside. She wasted no time unwrapping the nicely wrapped package and marveled when she found out what it was.
"Oh, Rahul, your lust has no limits." She said to herself as she admired the bustier and g-string he had left for her. It was of black silk with golden trims and lacing, clearly of elite standard. She held it to her chest, admiring the gesture.
The following day, at 7:50 a.m., Urmi was waiting on the sidewalk outside her building with a suitcase behind her, awaiting Rahul's arrival. She was undecided on how much excitement to allow herself, as she was entirely in the dark about the destination she was about to be taken to.
Soon after, Rahul's car presented itself and halted on the other side of the road. Rahul opened the boot for her suitcase before opening the passenger door for Urmi, in true gentleman style.
"Punctual, just how I like it. Are you ready for the ride of your life?" He quipped while patting her thigh.
Urmi blushed. "It is not always that I get taken to a surprise destination. I hardly could sleep."
"You can sleep in the car while I drive to the helicopter yard. It's about a one-hour drive away from the city. I don't want to attract too many eyes, so I chose something secluded and safe for us."
And in response, she sank back into the marshmallow passenger seat, thinking about the absolute jackpot she had landed by becoming close to Rahul. Rahul's idea of repayment was right, after all.
"You love your privacy, don't you, Rahul?" Urmi asked.
"I have had enough of seeing people every day. I only desire time for myself in between my partners, clients, and social status, and I believe you are a good candidate to share that time with." He smirked in the smoking hot way he knew how to.
Urmi beamed from ear to ear and allowed herself to hold that thought and transition into an unwinding state. Gazing through the window, all that could be seen was scurry and pollution, besides multitudes of individuals of the same social class as her staring back at the one car stuck out from traffic like a sore thumb. Cruising through that somehow amplified her sense of well-being and safety to the point that she felt comfortable closing her eyes and dozing off.
Her nap lingered, and a text message notification woke Urmi up. She checked her phone to discover it was from Rachna:
"Have a good time, ma. Text me when you arrive."
She willed herself to reply but was distracted by the fact that the car had stopped. They had arrived at their destination, so they parked in the gravel. Outside, it could be noticed how isolated the choice of grounds was. Urmi appreciated her unidentified surroundings and concluded they had indeed left Delhi behind.
Behind the car, a sleek and lean black helicopter was waiting with the engine on standby. A mysterious decal on the side of the tail boom grabbed Urmi's attention momentarily. However, there was no time to waste as Urmi and Rahul were responsible for unpacking the boot within a time window.
"Where are we, Rahul?
"My usual choice, sector 32. The closest town is Tirthali, out of sight, but we must hurry inside before the locals notice us."
Urmi was already feeling queasy at the prospect of flying in that monstrous machine before her; therefore, she felt compelled to ask the inevitable question.
"How long now until we get to our destination?" Urmi asked.
"About three hours at least, so buckle up," Rahul said.
Dread drowned out every other thought Urmi could have subsequently, but with the help of Rahul's serenity, she hoped to battle through the fear of heights.
While buckling up inside the helicopter's luxurious passenger seats, Urmi noticed Rahul rushing to put away some papers in a folder and into his carrier bag, to which she raised an eyebrow. However, she thought not to make a fuss out of it.
The trip was better than Urmi expected, and Rahul's company was a good reason. Urmi was overwhelmed by the Uttar Pradesh countryside and would comment on every salient detail to Rahul, points upon which Rahul would expand, thanks to his unyielding knowledge. Whether it be the history of specific towns they'd fly over, farming techniques, or how helicopters worked, he would dedicate at least a ten-minute discourse. It was amusing to Urmi because she got the opportunity to explore his sophisticated mind, even if it was through headset communication.
Rahul was used to travelling by air and confessed that he did have a fear of heights. That way, he empathised with Urmi and tried distracting her as much as possible.
In the last five minutes of the trip, Rahul instructed Urmi to wear a blindfold to heighten the sense of surprise when they landed. Rahul was taking this surprise quite seriously.
The descent was smooth, and Urmi could only judge that by the feel rather than using sight due to her blindfold. When they landed, Rahul held her hand and carefully led her into a car waiting for them on the grounds. A short car journey was the only thing left for them until the moment of the reveal arrived. Urmi was starting to become tired of just seeing black.
"Urmi, let's get out of the car now. You will now want to see this." Rahul announced.
Once again, he guided her outside. The warm temperature had stayed the same despite all the miles travelled. Urmi had expected somewhere exotic, with a different feel to the air or carrying the sound of the crashing sea.
"Are you ready?" Rahul called out, followed by the undoing of the blindfold.
She took a good look, and it was nothing like she expected, but at the same time, something smelled familiar. It certainly was a place without anything indicative of "special," but it only took Rahul to give a voice to what Urmi was looking for, to take her out of her misery.
"Welcome to your land in Gorakhpur, Urmi!" He chirped as he held onto her shoulders. "I want to share with you an exciting proposal."
"Oh wow, Rahul, you took me ALL the way to Gorakhpur?"
He pressed his fingers slightly deeper into her shoulders, resembling a massaging motion.
"Well, I wanted to do you the biggest favour you deserve." He paused to look for the papers he had previously stacked in his bag and grabbed them with both hands. "You see, these papers will lead us to something special."
Urmi was still confused, and her mouth remained partially agape. "Are those...?"
"Yes, Urmi...you should trust my expertise in this. Quality construction is my speciality, as you know, so I present to you the building project of your dreams."
Rahul then flicked through some of the papers and handed one of them over to Urmi.
Straight away, Urmi unfolded the paper, treating it like origami, and her mouth grew wider at what was a layman's architectural plan.
This time, Rahul stepped beside her without breaking contact and tried searching for her facial reaction.
"A block of flats, Rahul? This is amazing!"
But this is unlike any building you have seen. It is exemplary and ground-breaking. His voice stressed that last part, by which Urmi was taken aback. Rahul was set to impress Urmi with his prepared speech.
"Think of a self-contained, self-sufficient green building that YOU will own in your name while I handle the construction. It will have its own clean energy sources, a recycled water supply system, its own waste treatment station, and a lot of greenery, among other things. It will take advantage of Mother Nature to keep itself alive! But even better yet, it will be cheap and fully customisable for the buyers, and the sales proceeds will be split between us into equal parts. Honestly, this was something I had dreamt of for a long time; that's why I already have these plans that you are now holding, and now this is a chance of success for both of us. What do you think?"
Urmi took a few seconds to bring her wits back.
"It is indeed a surprise, and I am very impressed. It is all so sudden. Thanks to you, I can't believe I have the chance to be a landlady of such dimensions. With your idea, I knew what to do with this land, and most likely, I would have left it derelict. I, of course, have no means or brains for developing anything like this, let alone travelling all the way here; it was just something I was left with from my late husband. With hardly a doubt, it is fate that our friendship became more robust.
Rahul and Urmi contemplated the empty land together, and then he whispered into her ear: "This will be our kingdom. Please take it in as much as you can. Appreciate its size."
Urmi smiled back at him while her dirty mind reminded her of something else she appreciated the size of. She was impressed at Rahul's effort to magnify the surprise by taking her all the way here to reveal the news to her. It was a proposal, and the only way to persuade and galvanise a decision on her part was to make a big show about it, which a CEO like him could afford to do.
"Now, I think it is time for me to take you to the apartment nearby, where we can rest from our travels. We may continue our discussions about this project like the business partners we are." Rahul winked at the end of that remark.
====
That same day, a fresh summery afternoon was in the locality of Mohaddipur in Gorakhpur, where Urmi, Rahul, and their chauffeur had arrived at the apartment complex. It was around 1:45 p.m., and Urmi was craving a bite. She found the trip quite tiring; it wasn't something she was used to, and it caught up with her. However, one thing was on her mind: looking forward to the private apartment where they would spend the weekend.
The buildings in Mohaddipur were isolated giants aspiring to convert their surroundings into a metropolitan commercial sector. It was clear that Gorakhpur was developing into something bigger than itself, and Urmi couldn't be more proud to acknowledge that her land was suitable at this city's heart.
The instant they parted from the automobile, they stood at the feet of their designated building, absorbing the height and the luxury it packed. Rahul carefully extended the inner side of his forearm to Urmi's upper back, gently nudging her to the entrance. It was a tact appropriate for a delicate flower.
Welcome to our pad. I specially selected it. Since we will become business partners in Gorakhpur, our corporate meetings should occur in cutting-edge surroundings. Remember, the mindset is the product of our environment. I have signed a long-term lease for all our future Gorakhpur meetings.
"Oh wow, Rahul. I cannot agree more with you. However, I am starving and have not eaten since breakfast."
"We should unpack our things and have a bite to eat in the apartment."
Soon, they proceeded to take the elevator. The building's interior glamour was noticeable in Urmi's eyes, based on the materials and colour schemes used in the decor. Multiple shades of brown covered the walls, lampshades, and frames in the most modern minimalist style that a place like this in India could allow.
They reached the fourth floor while Rahul smiled at Urmi's vivid reactions. He excitedly took the key out of his pocket for unit 45 and jingled it in front of Urmi before letting them in.
Urmi's curiosity about the place grew just as they turned around the corner into a larger space, revealing the expanse of the whole unit. Rahul and Urmi marched onwards.
"Oh, Rahul, this is gigantic! Have you been here before?"
"No, dear. How can I enter without you? After discovering your land in Gorakhpur, I researched the area and had a lightbulb moment; that is when I arranged the transport, accommodation, and staffing here to surprise you. I would love your approval once I debrief all the details about the proposed project. The surprise was just out of courtesy, and obviously, you look like you need some time away from Delhi, so here we are."
"Thank you so much for thinking of me, Rahul. I would like to hear all about it."
"After some food." He smirked and tittered flirtatiously.
There was just... so much space! Every room was a square that led to another court in a sequence, each fused in a chain-like pattern and not linearly. The floor was slippery and reflective, characteristic of the natural stone that flaunted a seamless macaroon cream-white color. She could hear every footstep through the slipping motion of the shoe soles and the echo that so much of the free space produced. A minimalist style imitated the rest of the building's interior design, with its brown hues against the white and sparse furnishing.
Urmi marveled at the high ceilings and the closed wooden doors leading into other rooms. She couldn't reasonably calculate how big this place could be - It was like a maze!
Rahul stopped at the point where a small wooden bar counter was located, which was the last thing she expected the apartment to have. Rahul must have stuffed it with welcome drinks, a mini-fridge, and the choicest liquor bottles suited for Rahul's stature.
She was speechless at all she had seen on the apartment tour. Urmi splintered from Rahul to step into the balcony area. She could count three different balconies around the same unit and laugh with stupefaction to herself. The view of the commercial complexes and other apartment blocks in the distance was not the greatest, but the horizon was still something to appreciate.
Not long after, Rahul joined her on the balcony. He placed his hands on her shoulders.
Rahul and Urmi were hungry, so Urmi cooked something for him. It was good that he'd stacked up the kitchen with foodstuffs. He'd also informed Seema, the caretaker, that he wouldn't need her services as he didn't need anyone interrupting his time with Urmi or Rachna. Again, Rahul was happy to get the chance to taste one of Urmi's delicacies.
"Need a helping hand?" he questioned, smiling softly.
"You don't look like you belong in the kitchen," she laughed, shaking her head.
"Sweetheart," he rasped, circling his arms around her waist and pulling her to his chest while resting his head on her shoulders. "I don't have to fit into the kitchen to help you. I want to be here with you and watch you in your element, but I also want this to be fun for us," he flicked his tongue against her soft spot, and her body shivered against his.
"Oh well, I'll take you up on your offer then. I'm all yours, Rahul."
With that, he pulled away from her, and she tossed him one apron before they got down to cooking, chatting lightly about their lives from childhood, talking about the good and the bad times. Rahul realised he didn't just want to spend time with her but wanted to spend time with her in every possible way. He loved talking to her, and the conversation came easy to both.
The food was ready an hour later, and they settled. The... you should be a cook at a five-star restaurant an hour later." Rahul moaned out at the first taste.
Urmi's cheeks heated up from his praise, a smile breaking through.
"I see the extent of your happiness, Urmi. How sweet. When you are finished, join me in the central meeting room. I will set up my laptop, and we can discuss our little arrangement."
Urmi nodded with a smiling face, and an instant later, Rahul stood up and headed to the meeting room. After Urmi explored some of the apartment's surroundings, she breezily joined Rahul. At the room's centerpiece was a black table the size of a rowboat, modest enough for a CEO like Rahul, who was settled at the far end.
"Ah, Urmi! Please join me. Here is a seat."
Urmi heeded some signs of anxiety in her. After all, she felt ignorant in business talk, and it was the first time she had to deal with something so important. Her only hope was that Rahul educated her enough before she could be a full-time landlady, a possibility she was excited about.
"My goodness, Rahul, I am amazed by this place. This must have cost a bomb!" Urmi expressed,
"Isn't it just perfect? I only hand-pick the best. Did you enjoy the place?" He said while tucking a strand of Urmi's hair behind her ear.
"Oh yes." She said, "Rahul. I am nervous about this project and don't know if I will be competent enough to work on this."
"Don't worry, lovely Urmi! I am here to talk you through it all. I assure you you will be as competent as I am. I won't lie when I say I will make you my business partner.
Suddenly, the projector's screen manifested on the wall, revealing a plan of the building complex Rahul had idealised. Next to it was a mock-up video of the model.
"Oidealised. As you can see, this has been carefully planned, but it took me a long time to find the perfect piece of land. It had to satisfy many criteria, and to my surprise, I researched your land, and it was just the right fit. This would truly be the best opportunity for you to take advantage of. You have a chance to leave behind your days of poverty completely, and if you agree to this, you will one day look back at this decision with pride."
This was just the beginning of the speech, but she felt a tingle of enthusiasm from her chest to her neck.
"I envision a residential complex that covers the better part of the 15000 square meters of this land. There are five different parts, and some will be modular."
Rahul stood up, and the screen transitioned to another that outlined bullet points.
"First, let's talk about the residential part. There will be two separate ten-storey blocks perpendicular to each other. The height we are aiming for these buildings is a bit over 108 feet because high ceilings are something I truly believe in for the extra natural sunlight and ventilation that the homes will need for each season, such as what you see here. Each storey will contain five flat residential units, and in total, that means we are looking at around a hundred units."
"Wow, a hundred homes! How will I own all of THAT!"
"Quite marvellous. They will be constructed with precast concrete slabs which are sustainable, affordable, durable, and control heat well. The walls will contain stone with distinctive cooling properties and will be painted white to promote albedo, which we need to dispel the annoying heat in this area. The special thing about this paint is that it is thermochromic, one of a kind, as it reflects heat on hot days and absorbs it when cold. I'm very close with the supplier of this special paint, and I will arrange for you to meet him. His company is a trailblazer in the industry of useful and ecological products. They are advancing science in India in ways we did not expect, and we will have to rely heavily on him for this project."
At this point, Urmi was trying to keep her head up and her eyes open in what seemed to be the "food coma" effect. She was elated in this wealth of knowledge, and from time to time, her eyes would fixate on his corporate trouser bulge, leaving her fizzling inside, but the drowsiness was holding her back. This caught Rahul's attention.
"Dear Urmi, is this understood so far?" His eyes narrowed in a sexy way.
"I understand you are doing everything possible to cool these buildings down naturally."
"Correct, Urmi, you get points for that. You listen very well, I can see you are bright, but I can also see you falling asleep."
"Well, I would like a nap before we continue. I am so tired."
"Hmm, maybe I can say you deserve it."
He returned to his seat next to Urmi and regarded her entirety.
"You look like someone who deserves a nap. We will reunite again after to discuss the energy sources. What do you think?"
"I would appreciate that. Oh, Rahul, you know so much." Urmi exclaimed.
"It is my job and my life's dedication." As he finished the sentence, he stroked Urmi's rosy cheek.
That moment portrayed affection, but Urmi detected a puckered sexual tension that Rahul did an excellent job of disguising.
"It...turns me on...to see a man fit so much in that brain," she continued.
She blew out a whiff of hot air, a by-product of all the bodily activities processing her latent arousal.
"There is much more..so much more where this came from," responded hushed. He then transferred his stroking hand from her cheek to her hair. With a slow pace, he caressed her dark, glossy hair and then clasped the crown of her head. He spread his soft fingernails over the back of her scalp, leaving a solid, quivering sensation all over Urmi's body. It was this one-handed dominating motion that weakened Urmi's sexual energy.
She started breathing heavily through her mouth, and her voice thinned into a whisper.
"I want you to give it all to me. Everything you've got."
The distance suddenly closed between them in the blink of an eye due to Rahul's need to sniff Urmi's hair.
"Oh...wild rose, what a scent. You please me, Urmi, in more ways than one."
His nose went from nuzzling her hair to nuzzling her face, never leaving his anchored hand from the back of her hair. He connected his lips with hers in one swift motion. The touch of his lips was what Urmi had craved for so long since the day before, those bright pink lips which delivered so much action. The wet friction between their mouths developed into suckling. Urmi could sense how much the man wanted her by how much his lips were pulling hers, apart from all the panting that was happening in between smooches.
This time, he embraced her and pulled her up with force as he stood up from his seat. His face never separated from hers, and his eyes stayed shut, but he managed to guide her body onto one of the cosy sofas in the room. He pinned her there with his strong arms, and Urmi couldn't do anything about it but succumb. Urmi's breathlessness became out of control when her crotch butterflies descended further. This was the backdrop sensation behind something else she was also discerning: the fountain works were getting busy, and she gave in to the release of her sap.
The intensity of their kiss was in crescendo, and Rahul's hands were beginning to explore his favourite areas. One hand curled around and squeezed her back cheeks, and the other travelled from her back to the back of her neck, only to detach her rising-and-lowering, wholesome chest. Rahul enjoyed the motion and amused himself with the level of arousal she was experiencing.
Urmi was almost suffering from the longing for his love-making, so she decided to undo his belt. She then brought herself to gauge the state of his erection and gasped at what she found. Not only was it freed and at a 90-degree angle, but she felt it throbbing with all the lust his blood was pumping.
Rahul unlatched her lips and looked at her with fiery eyes, still panting.
"I think we should take this business meeting to the bedroom next door."
"Are you sure? What about the food? It would be a shame to waste it...."
"I think for my satiating, you will suffice, dear."
Urmi had no time to answer because he quickly carried her to the bedroom. It was supposed to be a guest room, but it was as luxurious as a guest room could be. The double bed was almost intimidating due to its size, and this would have to be the landing site for Urmi and Rahul's bodies.
They undressed in unison until they were flesh-on-flesh, stuck on each other's skin, him on top of her, their legs intermingling. He bit into Urmi's shoulder for the first time and left a mark.
"Your sexy body is my drug, Urmi." He whispered in between breaths.
Rahul's towering erection, which was prodding all over Urmi's pubic area, was met with Urmi's strong hand. She intended to soothe it, but this made Rahul feel the sexual rush even further. He couldn't wait any longer and inserted himself into her. They both moaned in harmony at this, a moaning which exponentially upgraded their lust for each other. As a result, he picked up the pace, each pump increasing his craving for the next pump. He lowered his face onto Urmi's face, sticking his tongue down her throat, inadvertently choking her. She almost climaxed at this daring action, intensified by the feel of his manly stubble brushing against her face; nevertheless, she yearned for more.
Rahul relished her honeypot's humidity to the point where his animalistic hunger awakened. This made him press Urmi's hands above her head and unleash a grunt. After that, his kiss moved down towards her neck, a powerful awakening tool for Urmi. Urmi was now on the brink of a very intense sensual orgasm: her moans heightened, her hips levitated, and, to her astonishment, her fingers dug quite deep into Rahul's back.
"Oh Rahul, give me...."
But the ultimate trigger to her pleasure cascade was the sound of Rahul's animalistic grunt graduating itself to a husky groan of passion, paired with the paroxysmal explosion of his climax inside her. The blended sound of her scream and his cry encouraged a much longer mutual orgasm than usual, which left both parties exhaling like two dogs in a desert, marked and highly fatigued.
Rahul dislodged and laid himself beside her while caressing her face.
"Pleasure doing business with you." He whispered.
They grinned simultaneously at that humorous attempt.
"Ah...that much-deserved nap." She finally said.
And that was when they both allowed themselves to drift off into the afternoon kip.
The afternoon became the evening, and Rahul naturally woke himself and Urmi up to carry on with the rest of the dark hours left.
For the rest of the evening, she hummed and moved around with a big smile, her expression more cheerful than when they first arrived. Now, she could see her dreams becoming a reality thanks to Rahul.
Soon, Rahul decided to take a bubble bath with Urmi. It wasn't something Rahul had ever done with a woman, but he knew Urmi would love it. She couldn't deny such an offer, not because she was eager but because they knew it would be enjoyable and relaxing.
They sat at opposite ends of the bathtub, soaking in the warm, soapy water with soft music, a bottle of wine and two glasses half-filled with wine beside them. Urmi couldn't remember a time she was this happy, and Rahul couldn't recall a time he'd ever been with a woman for this long without being sexually intimate with her. But after a while, he couldn't take it anymore.
"Come here," he reached for her, pulling her to him.
Urmi sat between his legs with her back to his chest and arms wrapped around her waist. Slowly, he began to wash her, grazing his hands from her shoulders down to her chest. He cradled her luscious breasts in his hands, and she visibly sagged against him, a moan leaving her lips. When he rolled the stiff peaks of her rosy nipples between his thumbs, a gasp flew out of her lips, sending a thrill that had her wanting more, but Rahul wasn't in a hurry. He was determined to spend and enjoy his time with her.
He took his time washing and pleasuring her, leaving her on edge until she could no longer take it. He wanted to hear the words from her mouth and beg for the pleasure he could give her, and she did just that.
"Please, Rahul," she whimpered when his fingers drifted down to her mound, tracing her wet slit but not deep enough to reach where she wanted his fingers.
"Please, what?" he demanded, taking his fingers away and returning them to her hard nipples while he latched onto her neck, kissing and nipping at her soft spot.
"Please, make more love to me," she pleaded, baring more of her neck.
Rahul didn't need to hear another word to spur into action. He rose and stepped out of the tub, taking Urmi. After drying off with the fluffy white towels they'd gotten from the towel rack, he led her into the bedroom, gently pushing her onto the bed. Urmi scooted to the end, resting against the headboards, as her eyes roamed Rahul's body. A gasp escaped her lips when her eyes landed on his engorged manhood, leaking precum.
Rahul smirked at her, getting on the bed and crawling to her like a predator about to devour its prey, but suddenly, Urmi's phone rang, disrupting the moment. With a growl of disapproval, he watched her take it from the nightstand to see the caller was Rachna. He told Rahul, asking him to keep his mouth shut for the call. But in response, he smirked, confusing her.
Of course, he'll keep it shut, but will she?
Urmi continued with her call, discussing her work with Rachna, not knowing what Rahul had planned for her until he reached for her legs, pulling them open to reveal her glistening pink core.
He settled between her legs, staring at her with a smirk. She shook her head, eyes wide in horror, but she couldn't deny the thrill of excitement that ran through her as he winked at her and dove in, ready to feast on her.
A jolt of electricity travelled through her, causing her to gasp when his tongue touched her clit. She was still on a call and quickly covered her mouth with her palm. Her eyes rolled into her head as he continued his ministration, not giving her a moment to breathe or even consider that her caller could hear her.
With his eyes staring intently at her and a sinister smile, he carefully dragged his tongue from her entrance to her clit, circling it slowly with his tongue. He watched as her eyes rolled into her eye sockets, a whimper almost escaping her lips, but she quickly bit down on her tongue while reaching for his head to pull him away. But Rahul caught it with his free arm, pinning it down and subjecting it to his assault. Urmi was dripping wet, edging him on to continue torturing her.
She couldn't comprehend whatever Rachna told her over the phone, not with Rahul eating her out as if his life depended on it.
"Ma?" Rachna's questioning voice sailed through her fog of pleasure when she hadn't responded to her last question.
"Y-ye-yes..." her voice was quivering, and she knew she had to end the call. "I need to leave now, please. I'll get back to you," she voiced in the most vital voice she could manage before ending the call without waiting to hear Rachna's response.
Throwing her phone on the bed, she grabbed Rahul's hair, pushing him down, needing him to drive her to the release that she badly wanted, as her legs were vibrating from the impending orgasm, but at that moment, he shocked her by pulling away, a smirk on his face.
"What?" she cried out, staring at him wide-eyed.
"Relax, Urmi," he growled out, lying on the bed and pulling her to straddle him. "Ride me?"
A blush coated Urmi's cheeks, but she obliged, reaching for his leaking member and gently slipping it into her. Once he was fully sheathed in her warm heat, a sigh left her before she began moving, holding onto his chest for leverage. Still, Rahul grabbed the back of her neck, pulling her down for a sloppy kiss, before holding onto her waist as he began pistoning into her.
Soon, Urmi's moans became cries of pleasure, filling the room and bouncing off the walls while he drove her to her delight. As his dick exploded inside her, Rahul bit her breasts and continued to ram her pussy rough and rugged. Urmi came with him. Rocking uncontrollably under his body, she clung to him as the hard orgasm ripped her apart. A growl escaped his lips, his eyes screwing shut from the intensity of his orgasm that hit him. When he finally opened his eyes, Urmi stared at him with fascination.
Slowly, things began to settle down, and Urmi could feel her body returning to normal. She opened her eyes and looked up into his.
"Rahul, you are so good at loving me!" She grinned into his eyes.
"Well, you did say make love to me." He reminded her.
"Yes. And you did. Now, I am yours. Or, more precisely, I am his" She squeezed his semi-hard dick with her pussy muscles.
"Good. I am happy. Shall we get up?"
"No, let my owner stay inside me a little longer."
They did finally get up, cleaned up, and went to bed. "I need to see that more," she said amidst smiles.
"You will," She leaned into him for a kiss before attempting to roll away, but he wouldn't let her. Giving up, she laid on him, rejoicing in the touch of his hands around her waist, gently caressing her lower back.
Later that evening, Rahul and Urmi were eager to treat themselves to a private dinner on one of the three balconies. Rahul placed an online takeaway order from a local catering supplier to refrain from doing any cooking work. They had fun selecting their favourite meals that reminded them of their childhood.
For this dinner, Rahul intended to colour-coordinate their evening wear, so he provided Urmi with a navy scarf and magenta silk dress that he was sure would hug her body so that no other clothing had ever done. Rahul wore a navy ensemble with a chiffon magenta shirt underneath. It was a precise match, and they were ready for a soiree to remember.
Outside was a mellow summer night to envy. Once seated at the balcony dinner table, they were eyeing each other gracefully over a glass of red wine.
"Now, where were we?" Rahul asked.
"The energy source, I believe," Urmi reminded him while playing with one of her hair curls and biting her lip at such fresh memories.
"Ah yes, well. You should know that solar panels will provide the electricity all around the building, and if that weren't enough since the need for heating would be minimal in Gorakhpur, I would install a geothermal heating pump."
"What's that?" Urmi posed, sipping the wine.
"It's a system that heats a building with the help of the Earth's natural and constant heat. The positive of this is that I devised a more cost-effective way of making this source more sustainable, not to mention preventing the earthquakes that could result from ground modifications. All through smart engineering. I have all this information stored in a book for you."
"You don't cease to amaze me. I am gasping to sign our agreement already."
"Soon, my dear, soon. There is still much to divulge, and you must be informed first. It is one of the agreement clauses."
At the end of that statement, his trademark wink made another appearance, at which Urmi blushed. Rahul raised his glass.
"To us and our future success in Gorakhpur!"
It was a line Rahul couldn't wait to say. This was also his way of continuing their owner-builder discussions.
