This happened last year during amritsar trip. In morning me and my friend went to golden temple in afternoon we went to wagah border. It was sunday and me and my friend reached there around 2-3 in afternoon.it was so crowded. the stairs where people sit was almost packed. my friend somehow managed to went inside the stair section area but i was stopped by army personnel managing the crowd. so i stayed below only near the gate of road where the program happens. Crowd was already there, 2-3 lines from the railing so i also stood behind the line. in few minutes a family of father mother and young daughter came and stood just infront of me.
